Section Grips
Section grips are probably the most used tool in the pen repairer's tool kit - they really are indispensable. These grips are exactly like those illustrated in Frank Dubiel's world famous pen repair manual 'Da Book' (also available from Cathedral Pens). Their main use is for the safe removal of sections from pen barrels but I also use them for refitting nib/feed into a section - far less fiddly (and cheaper) than using a nib fitting jig. They can also be used for Parker 51 shell and sac guard removal along with nib/feeds from 'Aerometrics'.
These grips are very robust and well made and will last you a liftime - you will of course have to replace the jaw rubbers once or twice in that time ;-)
